No installation or sign-up required. Open directly in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android. When prompted, allow location access.

Press "Start" and go
Keep the screen on and put your phone in your pocket or mount. Speed, distance, time and altitude are recorded in real time. Use Pause when you stop.

Tap "Stop" to see your summary
A summary screen shows distance, elapsed time, average speed, top speed and elevation gain. Your route stays drawn on the map and can be exported as a GPX file.

Do I need to install an app?

Does it record when the screen is off?
Due to browser limitations, recording stops when the screen is closed. Keep the screen on while tracking. We recommend mounting your phone in a holder.
Is there an Android app?
Yes. The free Android app keeps recording GPS routes even with the screen off or in the background (the browser version stops when the screen is closed). It is ideal for walking, running, cycling and driving, and is available for free from the download page.
