FAQ
-c copy モードを使用しており、再エンコードを一切行いません。元のビットレート・解像度・コーデックをそのまま維持します。ただしカット位置はキーフレーム単位になるため、数フレームのズレが生じる場合があります。
Yes. PureCut uses FFmpeg's -c copy mode — no re-encoding occurs. Original bitrate, resolution, and codec are preserved. Note: cut points snap to keyframes, so a slight offset of a few frames may occur at boundaries.

Setting gain to anything other than ×1.0 applies FFmpeg's volume filter, which re-encodes the audio track. Keeping gain at ×1.0 outputs audio losslessly (stream copy). Gain is ignored in video-only mode.
